Статистична оцінка рівня бідності населення

Abstract

У роботі розглядаються теоретичні та методологічні аспекти вивчення рівня бідності населення. Зокрема, досліджено поняття бідності, розглянуто види бідності та критерії її вимірювання. Проаналізовано динаміку основних показників бідності в Україні та виявлено проблеми бідності в регіональному вимірі. Виявлено основні фактори, що впливають на рівень бідності та на цій основі запропоновано оптимальні механізми скорочення масштабів бідності, а отже, й підвищення рівня життя українського народу.

The paper deals with theoretical and methodological aspects of studying the level of poverty of the population. In particular, the concept of poverty was investigated, poverty types and criteria for measuring it were considered. The dynamics of the main indicators of poverty in Ukraine was analyzed and problems of poverty in the regional dimension were identified. The main factors that influence the level of poverty are revealed, and on this basis, the optimal mechanisms of poverty reduction and, consequently, increase of living standards of the Ukrainian people are proposed
