Діяльність банків на ринку платіжних карток

Abstract

У роботі розглянуто теоретичні аспекти понять «банківська платіжна картка», «ринок платіжних карток»; досліджено особливості діяльності міжнародних платіжних систем VISA та MasterCard; досліджено нормативно-правову базу, що визначає порядок діяльності учасників та членів платіжних систем, зокрема банків. Проаналізовано тенденції розвитку ринку платіжних карток в Україні; ринкову позицію ПАТ «Альфа банк» на ринку платіжних карток; досліджено конкурентні переваги карткових продуктів ПАТ «Альфа банк». Досліджено міжнародний досвід розвитку ринку платіжних карток; визначено банківські ризики обігу платіжних карток та процеси управління ними, запропоновано використання банком моделі управління ризиками обігу платіжних карток.

The paper considers the theoretical aspects of the concepts of "bank payment card", "payment card market"; the peculiarities of the activity of the international payment systems VISA and MasterCard are investigated; the normative-legal base that determines the order of activity of participants and members of payment systems, in particular banks, is investigated. Trends in the development of the payment card market in Ukraine are analyzed; market position of PJSC "Alfa Bank" in the market of payment cards; the competitive advantages of card products of PJSC "Alfa Bank" are investigated. The international experience of payment card market development is studied; the banking risks of payment card circulation, the use of the bank's model of risk management of payment card circulation is proposed.
