Міжнародні аспекти формування ресурсних позицій та потенціалу банківських установ

Abstract

Метою дослідження є обґрунтування теоретичних засад та практичних аспектів формування ресурсних позицій та потенціалу банківських установ у міжнародному контексті. При написанні статті використовувався системно-аналітичний метод; метод угруповань – для систематизації фактичних даних; метод графічного відображення аналітичних даних – для відображення аналітичної інформації. Окреслено характерні властивості ресурсних позицій вітчизняних та зарубіжних банківських установ. Визначено необхідність використання матричних методів для виявлення конкурентних переваг банку, порівнюючи з позиціями лідерів. Обґрунтовано критерії ресурсних позицій відповідно до стратегічної орієнтації банків. Проаналізовано динаміку депозитних ресурсів європейських банків. Визначено пріоритетні напрями оптимізації ресурсного потенціалу вітчизняних та європейських банківських установ. Практична значимість дослідження полягає у визначенні напрямків оптимізації ресурсного потенціалу вітчизняних та європейських банківських установ.

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the formation of resource positions and the potential of banking institutions in the international context. Method. When writing the article, a system-analytical method was used; grouping method - to systematize factual data; method of graphical display of analytical data - for displaying analytical information. Results. The characteristic properties of resource positions of domestic and foreign banking institutions are outlined. The need to use matrix methods to determine the competitive advantages of the bank compared to the positions of the leaders is determined. It is proposed to use the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) model to determine the bank's competitive resource position. Reasoned criteria for resource positions in accordance with the strategic orientation of banks and the level of efficiency in the formation of financial resources. The main characteristics of the model are highlighted, including the following elements: segmentation; indicators (volume of deposits, equity, external debt and volume of loans granted); strategic orientation; analysis of competitive position. The dynamics of deposit resources of European banks are analyzed. The priority directions for optimizing the resource potential of domestic and European banking institutions have been determined, which involves the use of the following main measures: ensuring client trust in the banking institution through awareness of banking products and services; reduction of total costs for the formation of the resource base, optimization of pricing; implementation of a balanced credit and investment policy, taking into account the terms and volumes of the resource base. Practical importance. The practical significance of the research lies in the determination of directions for optimizing the resource potential of domestic and European banking institutions.
