Демократизація як складова реформування системи української освіти

Abstract

Метою дослідження є визначення шляху подальшого розвитку сучасної української системи освіти, що знаходиться в процесі трансформаційних змін, детермінованих євроінтегрційними процесами, та виявлення найбільш актуальних для неї цінностей. У результаті даного дослідження було зроблено висновок, що побудова освіти на демократичних засадах не тільки надає Україні можливість гармонійної інтеграції у європейський освітній простір, а й стає нагальною потребою на шляху загальної демократизації суспільства. Покликанням сучасної системи освіти стає формування в особистості відчуття власної відповідальності перед собою і суспільством.The purpose of this study is to determine the way of further development of the modern Ukrainian system of education, that is in the process of transformational changes determined by European integration processes, and to identify the most relevant values for it. It was concluded, that the building of education on democratic principles that not only provides Ukraine with the opportunity of harmonious integration into the European educational space, but also becomes an urgent necessity for the general democratization of society. The vocation of the modern education system is the formation of a sense of self-responsibility to oneself and society.
