Криптовалюта у діяльності банків

Abstract

Кваліфікаційна робота на здобуття освітнього ступеня бакалавра зі спеціальності «Фінанси та кредит» – Одеський національний економічний університет. – Одеса, 2019. Мета даної роботи полягає в обґрунтуванні теоретичних підходів та розробленні практичних рекомендацій щодо використання криптовалют у діяльності банків. Для досягнення поставленої мети є необхідним виконання наступних завдань: дослідити поняття «криптовалюта» та її використання в банківській діяльності; дослідити законодавче регулювання обігу криптовалюти в Україні; надати оцінку діяльності банків України через аналіз фінансового результату; сформувати портфель криптовалют банку; побудувати ринкову модель, щоб оцінити ринковий ризик портфелю крипто валют; проаналізувати світовий досвід становлення ринку крипто валют; розробити рекомендації щодо перспектив використання криптовалют у діяльності банків. У процесі написання роботи використовувалися як загальнонаукові, так і спеціальні методи пізнання: аналізу та синтезу – для визначення сутності поняття «криптовалюта»; графічний метод та метод побудови аналітичних таблиць – для наочного зображення результатів аналізу ринку криптовалют; регресійно-кореляційний аналіз для побудови ринкової моделі. В результаті проведеного дослідження автором одержані такі наукові результати: надано уточнення термінів «криптовалюта» та «блокчейн»; запропоновано використовувати криптовалюту у якості фінансового активу для інвестування та сформовано портфель криптовалют; побудовано ринкову модель сформованого портфелю з метою оцінки рівня ринкового ризику

The purpose of the work is to substantiate theoretical approaches and develop practical recommendations on the use of cryptocurrencies in the bank activity. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to implemente the following tasks: to investigate the concept of "cryptocurrency" and its use in banking activity; to investigate the legislative regulation of the cryptocurrencies in Ukraine; to provide an assessment of the bank activity in Ukraine through the analysis of financial results; to form a portfolio of crypto-currencies by bank; to build a market model to assess the market risk of a cryptocurrencies portfolio; to analyze the world experience of a cryptocurrency market development; to develop recommendations on the prospects of using cryptocurrencies in the bank activities. In the process of writing the work were used general scientific and special methods of knowledge: analysis and synthesis - to determine the essence of the concept of "cryptocurrency"; graphic method and method of constructing analytical tables - for the visual representation of the results of the cryptocurrency market analysis; regression-correlation analysis for constructing a market model. As a result of the research, the author obtained the following scientific results: clarification of the terms "cryptocurrency" and "blockchain" has been made; the usage of cryptocurrencies as a financial asset for investing has been offered and a portfolio of cryptocurrencies has been formed; the market model of the formed portfolio has been created in order to assess the level of market risk.
