Main Areas of Social Work in Conditions of War in Ukraine

Abstract

In these theses we argue, that social assistance to Ukrainian families in wartime is a complex and multifaceted problem that requires a comprehensive approach and constant improvement of social policies and practices. Main areas of social work in conditions of war in Ukraine are: family social resilience improvement, help to orphans and children deprived of parental care, assistance to military personnel families, we present it in these theses. Only through the joint efforts of the state, economic, military organizations as well as the general public can adequate social work support and protection be provided to those who need it in this difficult period of war.

У тезах надається узагальнення соціальної допомоги українським сім’ям у воєнний час як складної та багатогранної проблеми, яка потребує комплексного підходу та постійного вдосконалення соціальної політики та практики. Основними напрямами соціальної роботи в умовах війни в Україні є: підвищення соціальної стійкості сімей, допомога дітям-сиротам та дітям, позбавленим батьківського піклування, допомога сім'ям військовослужбовців, і це те, що надається у доповіді. Лише спільними зусиллями держави, господарських, військових організацій, а також громадськості можна забезпечити належну соціальну підтримку та захист тих, хто цього потребує у цей важкий воєнний час
