Теоретичні аспекти дослідження сучасних урбанізаційних процесів

Abstract

У статті розглядаються урбанізаційні процеси, що охоплюють розвиток і трансформацію міст у контексті їхньої соціально-економічної, культурної та політичної ролі. Метою статті є вивчення та удосконалення теоретичних, методичних, правових та адміністративних аспектів управління урбанізаційними процесами у сучасних умовах. У дослідженні використано комплексний підхід, що включає аналіз правових документів, порівняльний аналіз різних типів урбанізаційних процесів та огляд методологічних підходів до визначення міських територій, зокрема міжнародного досвіду. Визначено основні етапи розвитку міст та їхні соціально-економічні функції, а також проаналізовано правові аспекти визначення міських територій в Україні. Розглянуто типи міських агломерацій та види урбанізації. Отримані результати можуть бути використані для вдосконалення політики міського планування та управління, а також для розробки стратегій сталого розвитку міських територій, зокрема в умовах децентралізації та зростання урбанізації.

The article examines urbanization processes, covering the development and transformation of cities in the context of their socio-economic, cultural and political role. It was determined that the city is a key element of urbanization, which reflects changes in society, economy and population structure. The stages of development of cities, their functions and significance in different historical periods are described. The purpose of the article is to study and improve the theoretical, methodological, legal and administrative aspects of managing urbanization processes in modern conditions. The research uses a comprehensive approach, which includes the analysis of legal documents, comparative analysis of different types of urbanization processes (suburbanization, rurbanization, counter-urbanization) and a review of methodological approaches to the definition of urban areas, international experience in the definition of urban areas. The main stages of the development of cities, their socio-economic functions, and legal aspects of defining urban territories in Ukraine are defined. The most recent changes in the legislation regarding the status of urban-type settlements and their residents are presented. The types of urban agglomerations and types of urbanization are considered, in particular the processes of suburbanization, rurbanization, and counter-urbanization. The influence of different types of urbanization on the socio-economic development of cities is analyzed. The practical significance of the research results is that the obtained results can be used to improve urban planning and management policies, as well as to develop strategies for the sustainable development of urban areas, in particular, in conditions of decentralization and growing urbanization. Further directions for studying the topic are proposed.
