Розглядаються теоретичні та прикладні аспекти формування, оцінювання та покращання рівня життя сільського населення, зокрема досліджується понятійний апарат та складові цього багатоаспектного явища. Значна увага приділяється вивченню факторів впливу на рівень життя селян, які проявляються на різних рівнях управління, зарубіжному досвіду щодо поліпшення життєвого рівня мешканців сільської місцевості, формуванню організаційно-економічного механізму регулювання рівня життя селян.
