Метафора та порівняння: етнокультурний вимір

Abstract

Складником етнічної картини світу є художній світ народу, відбитий у фольклорі, зокрема у його пісенній творчості. Тропеїчні засоби української мови – яскраві маркери лінгвокогнітивного рівня як конкретної мовної особистості, так і національної мовної особистості. Вони виразно репрезентують специфіку мовомислення етносу, його індивідуальні риси, що вирізняють один етнос із-поміж інших. Пропонована стаття скерована на визначення особливостей метафоричних сполук та компаративних конструкцій як репрезентантів лінгвокогнітивного рівня національної мовної особистості. Мета нашої розвідки – кореляція фольклорних метафор та порівнянь, зафіксованих у родинно-побутовій ліриці, з етнокультурними кодами українців. Для досягнення поставленої мети розвʼязано такі завдання, як фіксація народних метафор і порівнянь; характеристика їх як тропів осі псевдототожності; встановлення етнокультурних параметрів метафор та порівнянь у фольклорних текстах; співвідношення вказаних тропів з етнокультурними кодами. Обʼєкт пропонованого дослідження – українська родинно-побутова лірика, його предмет – етнокультурний аспект метафор і порівнянь, що функціюють в українській пісенній творчості. Джерельною базою нашого дослідження послугувала збірка українських народних пісень родинно-побутового змісту, а фактичною базою – метафори та порівняння у складі українських народних пісень. Лінгвокогнітивний рівень національної мовної особистості досліджено за допомогою метафор і порівнянь – тропів, які значною мірою віддзеркалюють її специфіку. Етнокоди репрезентовано фаунонімами, фітонімами та соматизмами як складниками метафоричних сполук. Названі лексеми позначають коханих і відображають ставлення до протилежної статі. До складу порівнянь входять фауноніии й фітоніми, які в ролі агентів сприяють пізнанню референта порівняння. Метафорична та порівняльна об’єктивація світу представляє фаунонімний, флористичний та соматичний етнокультурні коди, що демонструють актуальні для народу поняття, сформовані з давніх-давен і відображені в українській родинно-побутовій ліриці.

The people’s artistic world, reflected in folklore (in particular, in their songwriting), is a component of their ethnic worldview. Tropeic means of the Ukrainian language are vivid markers of the linguistic-cognitive level of both a specific linguistic personality and a national linguistic personality. They distinctively represent the specifics of the ethnic group's language thinking and its individual features that distinguish it from other ethnic groups. The presented article is aimed at determining the peculiarities of metaphorical compounds and comparative constructions as representatives of the linguistic and cognitive level of the national linguistic personality. The purpose of the study is to correlate folklore metaphors and comparisons, documented in family and domestic lyrics, with the ethnocultural codes of Ukrainians. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were accomplished: documenting folk metaphors and comparisons; characterizing them as tropes of the pseudo-identity axis; identifying the ethnocultural parameters of metaphors and comparisons in folklore texts; correlating these tropes with ethnocultural codes. The object of the study is Ukrainian family and domestic lyrics, while its subject is the ethnocultural aspect of metaphors and comparisons that function in Ukrainian songwriting. The source base of the research is a collection of Ukrainian folk songs of family and domestic content, while the factual base consists of metaphors and comparisons found in Ukrainian folk songs. The linguocognitive level of the national linguistic personality has been studied through metaphors and comparisons – tropes that significantly reflect its specific features. Ethnocodes are represented by faunonyms, phytonyms, and somatisms as components of metaphorical compounds. These lexemes denote loved ones and reflect a tender attitude towards the opposite sex. The comparisons include faunonyms and phytonyms, which, as agents, contribute to the cognition of the referent of the comparison. The metaphorical and comparative objectification of the world represents faunal, floristic, and somatic ethno-cultural codes that demonstrate the concepts that are relevant to the people, formed from time immemorial and reflected in Ukrainian family and domestic lyrics.
