Сучасна траєкторія розвитку інвестиційної діяльності небанківських фінансових установ

Abstract

В умовах трансформаційних змін фінансової системи України небанківські фінансові установи (НФУ) відіграють дедалі важливішу роль у формуванні інвестиційного середовища, що зумовлює необхідність дослідження тенденцій їхньої інвестиційної активності. Мета дослідження полягає у з’ясуванні сучасних характеристик, викликів та перспектив інвестиційної діяльності НФУ в Україні. У процесі дослідження використано методи порівняльного аналізу, узагальнення, дедукції, контент-аналізу статистичних звітів та регуляторних документів.. Встановлено, що інвестиційна активність НФУ набуває динамічного характеру, зростає роль цифрових фінансових інструментів, водночас зберігаються інституційні бар’єри, пов’язані з доступом до ринків, обмеженістю інвестиційних продуктів та недосконалістю регулювання. Результати дослідження можуть бути використані регуляторами для формування стратегії розвитку небанківського інвестиційного сектору, а також НФУ для вдосконалення інвестиційної політики. Перспективними є подальші дослідження у напрямку оцінювання ефективності інвестиційної діяльності окремих типів НФУ з урахуванням ризик-орієнтованого підходу. In the context of accelerating economic cyclicality and ongoing transformation of the Ukrainian financial system, nonbank financial institutions (NBFIs) are gaining growing importance as participants of the national investment market. Their investment activities contribute to capital allocation eficiency, diversification of financial fiows, and increased financial system resilience. Given current challenges such as geopolitical instability, digitalization, and regulatory reform, the analysis of investment trajectories of NBFIs in Ukraine is particularly timely.. The purpose of the article is to identify the main trends, barriers, and development prospects of investment activity of non-bank financial institutions in Ukraine based on recent empirical and analytical data. The study employs a combination of general scientific and empirical methods, including comparative and structural analysis, deduction, synthesis, content analysis of reports by the National Bank of Ukraine and the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, and the review of international initiatives (e.g. USAID Financial Sector Reform). It has been revealed that the investment activity of NBFIs is becoming more dynamic, with a steady increase in portfolio diversification and the adoption of innovative instruments such as ETFs and REITs. However, a number of institutional challenges persist, including limited access to foreign financial markets, legal uncertainty, and weak financial literacy among clients. At the same time, digital financial services and improved regulatory standards are creating new opportunities for the investment growth of NBFIs. The results of the study may serve as a basis for public policy formation in the non-bank investment sector and support strategic decision-making by NBFIs aimed at expanding their investment portfolios and improving risk management. Prospective areas of research include assessing the eficiency of investment activity by types of NBFIs using risk-based and performance-oriented approaches.
