Актуальні передумови та основні напрями впровадження зелених технологій у готельно-ресторанному бізнесі України

Abstract

Метою дослідження є аналіз теоретичних і практичних аспектів розвитку зелених технологій у готельноресторанному бізнесі України, зокрема висвітлення інституційних та організаційних передумов та основних напрямів упровадження екологічно орієнтованих практик у галузі. Методика дослідження базується на застосуванні системного, аналітичного, порівняльного й статистичного підходів до прогнозування та оцінювання ефективності екологічних інновацій. Інформаційна база включає законодавство України, міжнародні стандарти, актуальні статистичні дані. У результаті дослідження визначено ключові напрями екологізації готельно-ресторанного бізнесу України: енергоефективність, управління ресурсами, екологічна сертифікація. Це дозволяє скоротити операційні витрати, підвищити лояльність клієнтів та покращити імідж. The purpose of the study is to analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of the development of green technologies in the hotel and restaurant business of Ukraine, in particular, to highlight the institutional and organizational prerequisites and main directions of implementing environmentally friendly practices in the industry. The research methodology is based on the application of systemic, analytical, comparative, and statistical approaches to predicting the effectiveness of environmental innovations. The information base is formed on the basis of legislative and regulatory acts of Ukraine, international environmental management standards ISO 14001 and Green Key, analytical reports of the UNDP and the State Agency for Energy Efficiency, as well as modern statistical data for 2024–2025. The results of the study allowed us to identify key areas of greening the hotel and restaurant sector, in particular energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy sources, the implementation of Internet of Things resource management systems, waste sorting and recycling, as well as environmental certification of establishments. The hotel and restaurant sector of Ukraine is at the stage of active transition to a green development model. It has been established that the use of green technologies allows for reducing operating costs, increasing customer loyalty, improving the image of the enterprise, and ensuring compliance with international standards of sustainable development. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the obtained results by hospitality enterprises to form sustainable development strategies, conduct energy audits, optimize resource management, and increase efficiency. The proposed approaches contribute to the ecological modernization of business, expand access to international grants and partnership programs, as well as the integration of the Ukrainian hotel and restaurant sector into the global ecological space.
