Перспективи розвитку інноваційних технологій у готельному бізнесі

Abstract

Мета статті полягає у дослідженні перспектив впровадження та розвитку інноваційних технологій у готельному бізнесі з урахуванням сучасних світових тенденцій, міжнародного досвіду та особливостей функціонування українських підприємств у сфері гостинності в умовах війни. Використано методи теоретичного аналізу, що дозволило висвітлити актуальний стан та проблеми розвитку інноваційних технологій у готельному бізнесі, для узагальнення міжнародного досвіду інновацій у сфері гостинності використано метод кейсів. У дослідженні узагальнено теоретичні засади перебігу інноваційних процесів, визначено актуальні тенденції інновацій у сфері готельного бізнесу, досліджено сучасний стан впровадження новітніх технологій у сфері гостинності за кордоном і в Україні та розроблено рекомендації щодо доцільності використання екологічних та цифрових інновацій в Україні. Перспективами подальших досліджень є ґрунтовне опрацювання застосування зелених технологій та діджиталізації готельного бізнесу. Матеріали дослідження мають прикладну цінність для суб’єктів готельного бізнесу та фахівців індустрії гостинності, оскільки визначені у роботі підходи та надані рекомендації можуть бути використані для розроблення інноваційних моделей управління та впровадження сучасних технологічних рішень. The purpose of the article is to study the prospects for the implementation and development of innovative technologies in the hotel business, taking into account current trends and practical experience. The study emphasizes the importance of technological transformation and innovation as key determinants of competitiveness, service quality, and sustainable development in the hospitality industry. Special attention is paid to the impact of martial law on the functioning of hotel enterprises in Ukraine and the need for adaptation through digitalization and eco-innovation. Qualitative methods based on theories of innovative technologies in the hotel business were used, and the case study method was employed to generalize international experience of innovations in the hospitality sector. Comparative and analytical methods were also applied to assess the specifics of technological modernization in Ukrainian hotels and to identify the main barriers and drivers of innovation. The methodological framework includes theoretical analysis, synthesis, and systematization, which provided the basis for identifying practical mechanisms for innovation in hospitality management. The study summarizes theoretical information on the features of innovative technologies, describes current trends in innovations in the hotel business, examines the current state of the hotel business abroad and in Ukraine, and develops recommendations based on the expediency of using ecological and digital innovations in Ukraine. Prospects for further research include a thorough study of the application of ecological and digital technologies in the hotel business. Conclusions and discussion. The study showed that the application of innovations in the hotel business ensures less workload for staff and increases the competitiveness of the enterprise. It was found that the integration of smart technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence increases operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, while environmental innovations such as energy-saving systems, waste management, and certification under ISO 14001 and Green Key standards enhance sustainability and strengthen brand reputation. The analysis of domestic and foreign practices shows that the combination of digital and ecological innovations ensures the competitiveness and resilience of hotel enterprises during wartime and in post-war recovery. The research materials are of practical value for hotel businesses and hospitality industry professionals, as the approaches and recommendations identified in the work can be used to develop innovative management models and implement modern technological solutions.
