Models of protection consumers on financial services market - European perspective

Abstract

The system of consumer protection in the European financial services was considered in the thesis. It was noted that the European Union has introduced a number of legislative changes that regulate the financial services market, whereas various member states have established various consumer protection institutions. The best model of consumer protection in the European financial services markets is located in Germany was researched. Also Polish system which represent mixed model, but with very strong Scandinavian influence is evaluated very high.

У статті розглянута система захисту прав споживачів у європейських фінансових послугах. Відзначено, що Європейський Союз запровадив низку законодавчих змін, що регулюють ринок фінансових послуг, тоді як різні держави-члени створили різні установи захисту прав споживачів. Досліджено найкращу модель захисту прав споживачів на європейських ринках фінансових послуг. Також дуже високо оцінюється польська система, яка представляє змішану модель, але з дуже сильним скандинавським впливом.
