Позиціонування Одеської області на ринку готельних послуг України

Abstract

У статті розглянуто позиції Одеської області на ринку готельних послуг України. З’ясовано, що загальні тенденції кількості осіб, що проживали у колективних засобах розміщення в Одеській області, мають нестабільні показники. В певні періоди (2014 та 2018 рік) кількість розміщених осіб була значно меншою від попереднього року. Однак, позиції Одеської області за більшістю показників залишаються високими, оскільки регіон має високу атрактивність для внутрішніх туристів, зростає зацікавленість іноземних туристів. Так, темпи зростання готельних підприємств на півдні України є найвищими для Одеської та Херсонської областей. Серед готельних підприємств України темпи зростання складали за період 2011-2019 рр. в межах 65-85% відносно 2011 року, тоді як для Одеського регіону перевищували показники попередніх років, склавши за деякими роками зростання у 112-115% відносно 2011 року. Розглянуто коефіцієнт використання місткості за регіонами України. Коефіцієнт використання місткості для Одеської області за період 2017-2019 років покращився. Це пояснюється як і певним зростанням кількості розміщених осіб у закладах розміщення, так і їх загальним скороченням та зростанням оборотності місця.

The article considers the position of the Odessa region in the market of hotel services in Ukraine. It was found out that the general trends in the number of people who lived in collective accommodation facilities in the Odessa region have unstable indicators. During certain periods (2014 and 2018), the number of accommodations was significantly lower than in the previous year. However, the position of the Odessa region in most indicators remains high, as the region has a high attractiveness for domestic tourists, and the interest of foreign tourists is growing. Thus, the growth rate of Hotel Enterprises in the south of Ukraine is the highest for the Odessa and Kherson regions. Among hotel companies in Ukraine, the growth rate for the period 2011-2019 was in the range of 65-85% compared to 2011, while for the Odessa region it exceeded the figures of previous years, amounting for some years to an increase of 112-115% compared to 2011. The coefficient of capacity utilization by regions of Ukraine is considered. The capacity utilization rate for the Odessa region has improved over the period 2017-2019. This is due to both a certain increase in the number of people placed in accommodation establishments, and their general reduction and increase in the turnover of places.So, in 2017, the indicator was 0.17, and the region ranked 23rd among the regions of Ukraine, in 2018 – 0.27 and 23rd place, while in 2019 the indicator increased to 0.28. Among the southern regions of Ukraine, the Odessa region lags behind the Kherson region (0.35 and 3-4 place in 2019), Mykolaiv region (0.32 and 6-8 place), Zaporozhye region (0.35 and 6-8 place). The average length of stay in Ukraine in hotels and similar accommodation facilities in 2019 is 1.9 days. Only 11 regions have an indicator higher than this value. However, a different situation is observed when analyzing the length of stay of persons placed in specialized accommodation facilities (in 2019 – other accommodation facilities). So, the average figure in Ukraine is 5.9 days. By region: Khmelnitsky region - 13.9 days, Luhansk region (9.4 days), Odessa (9.1 days), Donetsk (7.6 days), Kherson region and Kiev (7.4 days).
